Kick-off American Craft Beer Week starting with the release of Town Hall’s American Craft Beer Wheat.

For the 2010 American Craft Beer Week (May 17-23) we will be joining the activities of the American Homebrewers Association’s Big Brew event. We are teaming up with Fitger’s Brewhouse in Duluth to brew in tandem a wonderful recipe. The style is a refreshing American Wheat that will ferment quickly, is as flavorful as it is thirst quenching, and is a perfect beer to welcome in the warm weather months.
This recipe is based on the American wheat beer recipe found in the new Brewers Publications book Brewing with Wheat: The ‘Wit’ and ‘Weizen’ of World Wheat Beer Styles by Stan Hieronymus. The book will be available in spring 2010.
Town Hall will be pouring both their version of this Wheat ale as well as Fitger’s Brewhouse. We will have special edition glass (while supplies last) for this event. For $10 you will get to keep the special glass filled with a 20oz pour of our wheat ale, and as a bonus you will also receive a complimentary 10oz pour of the Fitger’s Brewhouse version.
