Wrap up February with a little Baltic Porter at Acadia Cafe. The collaborative beer from Fulton and Great Lakes will be tapped at 6pm. You can also enjoy a cask of Fulton’s War & Peace and Great Lakes’ Alchemy Hour IIPA.
Fulton’s Imperial Coffee Stout, War & Peace, makes its return Saturday at their taproom. War & Peace is infused with whole bean Guatemalan Organic dark roast coffee from Peace Coffee. You’ll be able to have it on draft or take home a 750ml bottle for $15 if you visit the brewery Saturday. Can’t make it Saturday, on Monday (2/25), War & Peace will roll out on draft and in bottles across the Twin Cities.
War & Peace is part of what Fulton is calling the Garage Series – a home for some of their beers that just don’t fit anywhere else. This series may include some experiments, infusions, barrel-aged beers and whatever else. We look forward to seeing more as the series develops!
Fulton has a couple of special beers for you tonight should you find yourself in St. Paul, specifically at The Muddy Pig. Tonight at 5pm they’ll tap a cask of Worthy Adversary that’s been cuddling (that’s a proper term…) in a cask with maple wood and vanilla beans.
They’re also bringing a keg of Libertine that’s been aging in 2 Gingers Whiskey barrels. Drink up!
When I think winter, inevitably, I think of stouts (and porters for that matter) and all things dark. So it’s only fitting that Groveland Tap celebrates the chill with their Stout Week next week. They’ve got a nice lineup of stouts and plan to have specials on flights as well as food made with stout. They’ll be tapping the beers listed below at 5pm on Monday and pour them ’til they run dry. Enjoy!
Lift Bridge, Summit Oatmeal, Big Wood Morning Wood, 3rd Street Sugar Shack, Brau Bros. Moo Joos, Odell Lugene, Millstream Backroad, 21st Amendment Oyster, Founder’s Breakfast, Tall Grass Buffalo Sweat with Vanilla Bean, Goose Island Bourbon County, Guinness and a cask of Fulton Worthy Adversary.
