Interesting plan for Dangerous Man…I would guess it wont be easy to stay afloat only selling pints and growlers, with no kegs going to bars, and no food. Rent aint cheap in MPLS.
“We will not be selling our beer at local bars or restaurants, or mass-producing cans and bottles. To have a taste of Dangerous Man beer you will have to come visit us”
That is an interesting deal. Counting only on people coming to you could be hard. At the same time there are benefits to it. No need to invest in kegging, bottling or canning equipment. When selling to a bar or liquor store your margins are less since you’re selling at wholesale rather than at retail which they will be for growlers and pints at the brewery so there is more to be made per pint there. Should be interesting to see how it’s received.
From what I’ve tasted of Dangerous Man’s beers it’s going to be well worth the effort to get to the brewery to have a pint and pick up a growler. I can’t wait for them to open!!
