Just a reminder that Friday marks the release the first in Schell’s 150th Anniversary beers, their 1878 Einbecker Doppelbock. It’s tasty! Look for the folks at Schell’s at your favorite bars around Minnesota to celebrate this release. Check out the schedule here.

Maybe you’re the nicest guy in the world in person, but you behavior here means I’ll never spend a dime at your buseness
No more talking about al. Let’s have some doppelbock! Aside from Blue Nile, it looks like it’ll be at the following places in the cities. I’m looking forward to sitting down with a full pint…
Stub & Herb’s, Minneapolis, MN
McKenzie’s, Minneapolis, MN
Buster’s on 28th, Minneapolis, MN
Groveland Tap, St. Paul, MN
The Happy Gnome, St. Paul, MN
The Dubliner Pub, St. Paul, MN
Washington Square, White Bear Lake, MN
Mad Capper Saloon, Stillwater, MN
Point taken, Ryan.
I’m looking forward to trying an Einbecker.
If I remember correctly, I think I had some at winterfest. It was my favorite non-RIS non-Belgian beer I tried.
Your site says you had it at Winterfest 2007 and it was an Eisbock 😉
We have the Dopplebock in the cooler right now with a 1/4 barrel of Snowstorm left to run. We are selling Snowstorm for $2 a pint and $8 a pitcher until it’s gone, then we’ll tap the Dopplebock and sell it for $4.25 pint and $14.50 pitcher (hopefully tonight!)

That sounds like a challenge, Pat… 😉
What do we have here?
Doh, HTML links don’t work.

Ryan: um, yeah….
I’m just jealous because I only have one full carboy and two kegs that’ll probably kick soon.
