Here’s an update from the PedalPub… of note, I took about 12 co-workers on the PedalPub for the St. Louis Park Parktacular parade and everyone had a blast. Surprised? I didn’t think so… Eric and Al are great hosts. Eric’s family even joined us for the ride at the last minute.
By the way, I’m encouraging you all to write the Minneapolis Park Board Commissioners a nice, polite note encouraging them to reinstate the PedalPub’s permit to operate on city parkways. I’m sure you all can come up with a nice way of letting them know what a great, unique service Al and Eric offer. Get to it!
Whew! It has been a VERY busy July for the PedalPub! You may have seen us in the St. Louis Park Parktacular parade, or the Juneteenth Parade, or the Lakeville Pan-O-Prog parade, or the Edina 4th of July parade, or on one of our many routes around the city. Thanks to all of you who are helping make the PedalPub so successful! Here’s our latest news:

It is with sadness that we must notify you that the Minneapolis Park Board has revoked our permit to operate on Minneapolis city parkways. Their stated reasons are that “the park board already has a contract with a bike vendor”, and “the customer service department does not have the ability or authority to grant a permit to the PedalPub.” This means our Calhoun/Lake of the Isles and St.Anthony/Stone Arch Bridge routes are once again unavailable. We will continue to pursue these routes through all channels available to us. We’ll keep you posted.  In the meantime, if you wish to voice your support for the PedalPub, you can contact one or more Park Board Commissioners and let them know your thoughts. Here’s a link to the Minneapolis Park Board Commissioners website: http://www.minneapolisparks.org/default.asp?PageID=36 Also, please send a cc: to us at info@pedalpub.com.On a happier note, we have opened a couple of routes in Saint Paul:
NEW! ST. PAUL CATHEDRAL HILL ROUTE

ST. PAUL WEST SEVENTH STREET ROUTE

We are looking for our first expansion of the PedalPub, and we have narrowed it down to one of these three cities. Do you know any energetic people in one of these locations who would like to help us bring the PedalPub to their town? Send us their name and email address, and perhaps an introduction to them! info@pedalpub.com
