It sounds like a wonderful party at the ‘Pig! …and here I thought it was cool that one of my friends living in New York came back for the MNBeer 3.5 year birthday party. She’s very cool, but not exactly the Prior from the Koningshoeven Trappist Monastery. 🙂

Muddy Pig’s 7th Birthday Party on Saturday, June 27, all day. Wow, can it really be 7 years already? We all know The Muddy Pig has the best customers in the cities and to thank you for 7 years of support we are throwing a party. All draft beers will be half price on Saturday, June 27 from open to close. Please make arrangements for a ride home. Koningshoeven Event on Saturday, June 27 @ 1pm and 2:30pm We have a very special event planned to coincide with our 7th birthday party. The Prior from the Koningshoeven Trappist Monastery will be at The Muddy Pig for 2 seminars at 1:00 and 2:30. This will be the first time in forever that a member of one of the Trappist breweries will be in town and it’s an event you won’t want to miss. At the seminar you will learn about what it means to be a member of the order, what it takes to make real Trappist ales and what the future holds for these amazing products. Not to mention sampling the entire lineup of Koningshoeven beers including a one time beer created to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of the monastery.
