“Hop” aboard Metro Transit’s Green Line with hundreds of your newest friends and ride the rails to nine unique local breweries all within walking distance (anywhere from 1 to 6 blocks) of the many stops between Minneapolis and St. Paul. Throughout your self-guided Light Rail “crawl”, each brewery will offer special discounts on beer, food, and merchandise just for our participants. As you travel down the tracks, you can order up pints of exclusive casks and firkins, kick-back to some live music, make some fun pit stops at other local businesses along the route, and of course…taste a wide variety of the finest brews in the Twin Cities!

Your day will begin at one of three centrally located Light Rail stations: Target Field, Stadium Village, or Union Depot. At check-in, you will receive your exclusive (and super soft) Rails & Ales T-shirt, two tokens redeemable for a delectable pint at any participating brewery, and your event “passport” which will be your guide for all the festivities – including maps, discount information, contests, and guides to local bars and restaurants along the way! Once you’ve received your exclusive guide, the road you travel is up to you: travel stop-to-stop, explore new breweries you haven’t been to, or visit all the old favorites. No matter which way you go, you are sure to find new flavors and make new friends during this one-of-a-kind event.
