Caramelpalooza, the quirky celebration of all things caramel, adds craft beer and small batch hard cider to an abundance of caramel-focused foods, live music and activities for families. The festival is free to attend.
Performing will be “CaramElvis” (an Elvis impersonator), CroixDaddy, a local R& B band, and Jaedyn James & The Hunger, a funky soul band from Minneapolis that features the trumpet-playing of Jamie White, who grew up in Marine.
Maple Island Brewing will offer samples of a caramel beer, made especially for Caramelpalooza; and St. Croix Chocolate Co. will showcase a caramel confection made with beer from the Stillwater-based craft brewery. In addition, Yellow Belly small batch hard cider from Sapsucker Farms in Mora, Minn. will also be available for sampling and sales to adults. Lunch will be available on site, as well. The festival is free to attend.
