Schedule of events for Sunday, July 17th:
Noon: Taproom open. Louisiana Purchase Cajun Food.
1:00pm: Jason McCann from Cargill will discuss the varieties of malts available to the home brewer.
1:45pm: Taylor Quill from Quill Bros. Hop Farm: All Things Hop Related.
2:30pm: Cody Myers-Miller from BSG will speak on the roll spices and sugars play in Belgian brewing
3:15pm: Touring the Great Breweries of Belgium with Brewer Kevin Welch of Boom Island as Your Guide – Sponsored by Book It Travel.
3:45pm: Defining the Styles of Belgian Brewing – Michael Agnew of A Perfect Pint will give us a run down the many diverse styles of beer in the Belgian tradition of brewing.
4:30pm: Jeff Merriman of Northern Brewer will discuss the role of Belgian yeast and fermentation in the brewing process. I still need to confirm.
