When does the line begin to form at Surly?
fb, I would check out the various threads at BeerAdvocate. I know some people camp out over night, others arrive around 8am, and still others take their chances and get there as the gates are opening. I guess it depends how brave you are!
Last year I got there around 6:30 am and was about halfway through the wristband-receiving section of the line. I think. Maybe between 1/3 and 1/2. Anyway, I wasn’t among the first few hundred there.
This year I’m strongly considering going to Darkness Eve, seeing a couple bands, then going straight to the brewery around 1 or 2am.
The wait last year was actually pretty fun, if cold before the sun got to a reasonable point in the sky.
When do they hand out wristbands?
Last year it was around 11.
Leinie’s Big Eddie Russian Imperial Stout added to the lineup.
So, no non-Surly local beer?
No D-bag-brewing.
We took the other locals off tap for 4 hours last Friday. We are back to 23 local taps now.
What are you in the seventh grade?
