Dark Knight at Barley John’s

Dark Knight 2011, Barley John’s double fermented porter is now available. After spending the last year in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels it is likely heaven in a glass. While the strength of this batch has yet to be tested, expect it to be in the 13 – 14% ABV range, and thus the 5.5 oz serving size.

    actually I think they do growler it (they have in the past). expect it to be around $80 though

    They’ve done growlers of it in the past. Thought it was closer to $65 with Rosies being more like $80-$90.

    I asked about a growler when I was there last night, they said $73. I bought one a few years ago and it was $64 then.

    Hi Doug, Growlers are $70 tax included. We used to charge tax after the fact. The $3 is for the growler container. Years past it was $65 + tax + $3 for the container just to clear things up.
