Better Beer Society
Perhaps you’ve stumbled upon this initiative already, but if not, you should. The Better Beer Society will be sort of a Better Business Bureau for beer. The Heavy Table has a nice write up today about the effort here.

Northern Brewer hosts a discussion with award-winning homebrewer and soon-to-be professional brewer Kristen England. Brewing TV’s Jake Keeler moderates the Q&A in which England talks about his time spent building recipes for Northern Brewer, the origin of Patersbier, considerations to make between extract and all-grain, fine-tuning your palate and your homebrew, going pro, and we get a look at what beers Pour Decisions Brewing Company will be hitting the market with in the first half of 2012. Minneapolis Home Brew Day!
In celebration for the joy of homebrewing and the passion of local homebrewers, Mayor R.T. Rybak and the City of Minneapolis have proclaimed Saturday, Dec. 10th “Minneapolis Home Brewing Day.” City Council Member John H. Quincy will be on hand to say a few words during the symbolic event at Northern Brewer’s store in Minneapolis (6021 Lyndale Ave. S). The brief event and photo opportunity goes down at 1 p.m.
Regardless of where you live and brew, if you are a Minnesotan homebrewer, come out and represent! Got a club? Bring them along! And because behind every successful brewery is a group of one-time home brewers, local professional brewers from Surly Brewing, Lucid Brewing, and Pour Decisions Brewing Company will be in attendance.
Come celebrate craft beer at its most local – homebrew!

Sorry guys. $20 (slightly more for 2XL & 3XL) covers the shirt & shipping. You’ll need a Paypal account & can pay with credit card or your bank account.
Shirts will be ordered on Sunday and we’ll fulfill them as soon we get them afterward. At this point, I think it’s fair to assume they’ll be here for Xmas. We’ll order extras as well, but the only way to be sure you’ll get one is to order it.
