The organizers of Minnesota Craft Beer Week in May want your best beer toast! Participating bars will make the toast when they tap the first kegs of beer week. Submit your entries by Friday, April 23rd for a chance to win a private beer tasting for the winner and 10 friends with Mike Rose from Goose Island.  Perhaps Mike will come up with some special beers for the event? Although the HopChart party at the Edina Grill had to be cancelled on Saturday, that didn’t stop four lucky folks from winning a set of tickets to the St. Paul Summer Beer Festival. Congrats to:

– mothman, who was the first user to get 10 new members to join HopChart
– nilspils and FrauBeger, who were at the top of the heap in getting new members to join HopChart
– martin, who took home the prize in the “You’re Quite Inviting” category

For the rest of us, tickets are now on sale. Get ‘em while you can as I’d bet this great, young festival will have no problem selling out.
