MPLS Release at Town Hall

Town Hall has a new release coming up next week as well as a peak at a couple beers to look forward to in the near future.

Hey All,

Seems like you are a fan of the seasonal lagers….that’s cool because the brewstaff is having a great time making (drinking) them! So you had the Classic American Pilsner, then Saaz Pils (Ya, I really miss that one too) and now M.P.L.S. is on the way. This coming Monday 8/6 Tuesday at 5pm we will release our Minnesota Pale Lager Style! MPLS is a crisp thirst quenching beer that will be a perfect relief for this CRAZY hot weather. This beer is so clean, some of you may question whether it is really a lager….well I assure you it is. We fermented this beer with American lager yeast and hopped it pretty well with Nelson hops from New Zealand……61.2 IBUs to be exact.

You are just about to burn out the Flight of the Falcon (nice work!), this is your next single hopped beer from THB. Come down and drink some MPLS on Monday, pints of this fine Minnesota Lager just $2.50 release day (5-6pm)

Thanks for drinking our lagers! You keep drinking them and we will keep brewing them……..Hopfen Ublich (Double Pilsner) and Oktoberfest are coming.

P.S.- This week we released Crimson Oat (Oatmeal Amber) and our Belgian style Wit beer if you are craving those.

Cheers
Mike

Please note: Both Town Hall Brewery and Town Hall Tap are CLOSED Monday, August 6 for an employee outing.

Craft Beer at the Minnesota State Fair Horticulture Building

Wait. What? Beer is an agricultural product? Well regardless of what you believe (and I’m kidding, btw), we’ve just learned that the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild will be at this year’s Minnesota State Fair in the Horticulture Building. Their exhibit will highlight Minnesota’s brewing history, how beer is made and what’s going on in Minnesota beer. Brewers will be present, and we’re told there will be sample beer flights too. The Minnesota State Fair just got a little bit cooler!

All Pints North Pre-Fest Party Friday at Fitger’s Brewhouse

Should you find yourself in Duluth on Friday night before All Pints North, be sure to stop by Fitger’s Brewhouse for an All Pints North pre-party. Ryan (that’s me!) from MNBeer will be joining the Brewhouse brewers at the bar from 9-12. You can count on other brewers to be present too. Come down, have a pint, say hello and check out some mysic by Sarah Pieplow from Fort Collins.

…and don’t forget… All Pints North is Saturday from 3-7pm at Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth, MN. All Pints North is the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild’s inaugural beer fest in Duluth, MN. Tickets are still available (click on this link to purchase), and it promises to be a great event. Follow the links to  check out the breweries, food options, music, education and a special Duluth Flood Relief effort.

If you can’t make it to Fitger’s Brewhouse on Friday, stop by the fest on Saturday and say hi. As with all Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild events, we’ll be present and accounted for… (and thirsty!)

Beer Dabbler Highland Fest

The next Beer Dabbler festival, Summer Beer Dabbler at Highland Fest is right around the corner – Saturday, July 21st from 1-5pm (doors open at 12:30) at Hillcresst Park in St. Paul as part of St. Paul’s Highland Fast.
