Doug Hoverson Book Signing & Beer Sampling at The Four Firkins

Here’s a great excuse to pick up a wonderful book detailing Minnesota beer history and shop in a damn fine beer store. Head on over to The Four Firkins on Monday, March 2nd to meet author Doug Hoverson, get your book signed and try some beer. Sounds like a winning combination to me!

Come and meet Doug Hoverson, author of “Land of Amber Waters”. He will be at The Firkins to shoot the breeze with us and sample a few beers this coming Monday from 6:00pm.

Haven’t read the book yet? It’s only the entire brewing history of Minnesota! We’ll have copies for sale and Doug will even sign them for you. Here’s a link to the books website.

Last Cellar’s Tasting

I stopped in at Lex/Larp Cellar’s today, and things have really disappeared. The back shelf is about half empty, and that’s all the beer that is left.

But that’s not the purpose of the post. As I was leaving, they were pulling bunches and bunches of things off the shelf for the last tasting this evening. Bottles open at 7pm.

Cellars Lex/Larp 50% Off

FYI, a few people have mentioned that Cellars at Lex/Larp is down to 50% off. Joe F. mentioned that they still had a good selection of Belgians and even some Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 4-packs. Go get it…
