Schells Sampling at Four Firkins
After making it through the first day of a new week you should get rewarded, right? Jace will be on hand to provide samples of Maifest, Schmaltz’s Alt, Zommerfest, Pale Ale, Stout and Firebrick.
Beer on Showcase Minnesota
So I guess I got my wires crossed. Alvey from The Four Firkins was slated to talk about beer on Showcase Minnesota on KARE-11 this morning. You can click here to watch the video.
I didn’t see the piece, but as it would turn out you could have tuned into Twin Cities Live today at 3pm for a piece on beer! Apparently you can also watch the replay at 8:00 on 45.
Beer & Brats
Nothing says summer grilling like that combination! The Cellar’s in Eagan is teaming up with their neighbor Von Hanson’s. Each week The Cellar’s will choose a beer and Von Hanson’s will make beer brats with it. Brats are made on Friday and sold on a first come, first serve basis. Last week the Moretti La Rossa batch sold out by Sunday afternoon.
So if beer brats are your thing, make sure to get to Von Hanson’s early in the weekend. This week they’ll be crafting the brats with Schell’s Dark.
