Cooking With Beer

Join Lift Bridge and Chef Manfred Krug at The Chef’s Gallery in Stillwater for an evening of beer and ribs. Chef Manfred will be in charge of the ribs, and Lift Bridge will talk and sample beer. Their brews will be incorporated into both the ribs and the side dishes. There will be several different styles of the all-American favorite of juicy meaty ribs, seasonal side dishes, and beer pairing.

Cost: $65
To register, call (651-351-1144), stop in at The Chef’s Gallery (324 S. Main St.) or fill out the form online.

Moaten, a collaborative brew between Urthel and Two Brothers, an oak-aged Flemish red ale. They’ll be at The Happy Gnome on Thursday, August 6th for a beer dinner and at The Four Firkins on Friday for a free tasting. Sounds like fun!

On Thursday, August 6 at 6pm you can join Hildegard from Urthel and Jason Ebel from Two Brothers Brewing at The Happy Gnome as they introduce St. Paul to Moaten, a collaboration brew that has been aging on oak for the past couple of months, a Flander’s Red Ale. Hildegard is one of only a handful of women brewers in Belgium. They are both going to be on hand to chat and answer questions. Dinner and beer $38.

On Friday, August 7th from 6-8pm, they’ll visit The Four Firkins in St. Louis Park to sample some beers.
