There’s a nice piece on Busters on 28th in the Strib. Enjoy. Here’s the line I like…
After finding success with Buster’s, [Nick] Miller said he’s hoping to open two more beer bars this summer.
…uh, Nick… I like SLP for your next location. I could use a great beer bar to go with the great beer store coming my way…
I’m glad to hear that things have changed since first opening and the servers are now being educated on the beers. That was’t the case in the beginning so I had assumed that the knowledge had been acquired on their own dime. I’m glad they’re doing so well but miss it being a secret, too.
Me,I read that and I hear “I make so much money, now I need to make more money!”
Moneymoneymoneymoneymoney!
Money!
I stopped in there on Saturday afternoon about 1:00 p.m. and the place was busy. The lone waitress was really working hard. I had a table next to the bar and the bartender served me, very nice and congenial. Very nice beer line up. I didn’t have any food, but the brunch menu looked nice. By about 2:30 the place had quieted down a bit. Only complaint I had – they need a bit more space at the bar, only 5 barstools. Otherwise, pretty cool place. I think that will be in my rotation now.
