Town Hall Pig Roast

Whether you’re playing in the bocce ball tournament, cheering a team on or just looking for some tasty grub, Town Hall is the place to be Saturday.

Hey All,

Got some good news and some bad-

Good News- This coming saturday marks our annual Pig Roast (Yep, spent grain fed), Bocce Ball Tourny, and Smoked Hefe Release. Smoked Hefeweizen will be ready to go when the doors open and the grain fed pork platters will be ready starting at 2pm. Look for special pricing on Smoked Hefe when the pig is released at 2pm. We may have room for one more Bocce Team (call and Matt can give you details).

Bad News- This celebration means we are reaching the end of our summer………….but we all love the autumn in MN!

Oh Yeah, if you like hops get some of the limited supply of Tank Monkey Double IPA. Sorry no deals on this critter.

Cheers-
Mike

Beer School at Republic

Get yerself some schoolin’ on hump day at Republic (formerly know as Preston’s). And to quench your thirst while yer learnin’ there’ll be $3 pints of Hop Prop.

Come out to the Republic next Wednesday and check out our new venue! I’ll be there from 4pm til whenever, and we’re going to have Dan Schwarz and Trevor Cronk, the co-founders (and two of the brewers) from Lift Bridge Brewing Company.

At 5pm we’ll be tapping a firkin of Hop Prop IPA, with pours for just $3! This is our first event at the new location, so let’s show ’em what us beer schoolers are all about-I’m not leaving ’til that cask is empty!

For anyone who participated in last semester-come out, see some old friends, and have a good time. For anyone interested in Beer School, I’ll be around all afternoon to answer questions.

If you’ve never had Hop Prop on cask, you have to come try it. If you have had it, I don’t need to tell you to be there, you know how tasty this stuff is. I expect to see you all there.

Your friendly Beer School Principal,
Pat Fahey

T-storm Release at Town Hall

UPDATE: RELEASE HAS BEEN MOVED TO 7/25. Grab you umbrella and get ready for the Thunderstorm.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Minneapolis on August 1st. Doppler radar has indicated a rotating wall cloud with strong winds capable of tipping all unseemly beers on any outdoor patio. Damaging hail, lightening and raucous laughter will accompany this deluge. If you are in the path of this storm you must seek shelter at Town Hall Brewery immediately to ride out the beast. Although we believe this T-Storm will leave a swath of destruction you may also experience an orange peel shower with a lemongrass rainbow. So join us at Town Hall Brewery Monday, 8/1 at 5pm to weather out the storm and share memories of T-storms gone by.

All Hail the Thunderstorm!
