New beer from…Grain Belt!

It’s not often we get the opportunity to post news from Grain Belt, and especially news that involves a new beer release! You read that correctly–Grain Belt is proud to announce the release of Grain Belt Nordeast, “…an American Amber lager….light maltiness and hop aroma with a mild bitterness. Smooth taste with an excellent drinkability.”

On Wednesday, April 7th at 8:00am, the first cases of Nordeast will be delivered to Surdyk’s Liquor store in Nordeast Minneapolis and will be available in 6 Packs, 12 Packs, and on draft. It will be available that day at every bar and liquor store in Nordeast Minneapolis only, and released everywhere else the following day.

More here.

[No definite word from the brewery on rumors that the Grain Belt sign in NE will be lit up once again, though expect to see spotlights on the sign for the release. ~Ryan]
