So it’s probably no secret that I’m a fan of Arborfest. It’s a fun, intimate beer (and now wine) event that takes place every Spring in support of Family Tree Clinic of St. Paul, whose mission is to cultivate a healthy community through comprehensive sexual health care & education. It’s my trifecta – good people, good beer, good cause. Head on over to St. Paul on Friday and join me and the MNBeer crew and a ton of your other friends.
Other good stuff: Drinking Song & Shanties by The Eddies, rides on the PedalPub, Bag Pipes, food, DJ Double Trouble and perhaps a beer or wine or four:

…oh, and…
Rob from Showcase MN is a homebrewer and beer fan as well, FYI.
I always liked Arborfest, it was the first time I had Furious back in ’06. Unfortunately, 30 bucks is about my threshold for beer fest tix now. Funny how tickets dont sell as well on this, but ABR and Winterfest sell out in hours or days.
@Trav – it is spendy, but also a fundraiser for a non-profit. That being said, I think ABR has a trifecta of location, time (of year & day of week) and number of breweries. Winterfest, too, is on a Friday night, making it difficult for many to swing but they have the added draw of many special/rare, higher alcohol beers. All I know is when I woke up to rain this morning I was glad that this is one of the inside beer fests.
