Rush River has been working on some new packaging for their product, which should be hitting stores soon (if not already). To make sure you know just what to look for, here’s some pics of their new labels.

Much better.
ZzzzzzZzzzzzZzzzzz…. All rook same.
Sweet. Now let’s work on getting some better beer in there.
I dont like that the “name” of the beer is in super tiny print now. I like beers with names, drinking ‘ Brewery X IPA’ isnt going to make it jump off the shelves. Their IPA is not bad for 8 bucks a sixer.
All I have to say is good luck to ’em. I like their beers, but, here in the Twin Cities we are a little bit spoiled in terms of the selection available to us.
Presently, there are plenty of Branded beers out there from further away and with bigger (inter)national reputations, and those beers definitely are being sold via packaging that ties-in to POP/POS, and several of which have otherwise been thoroughly implemented through print and web advertising.
If Rush River plans to grow via moving beyond MN/WI regional, they’ll have to re-think their strategy just a little bit in terms of packaging and other aspects of branding.
