An amazing menu with great beers in an intimate setting….I I wish had an extra $120 and hadn’t made plans for NYE!

  2. Ben says:

Looks like a damn good meal. We stopped by for the Sunday night dinner a couple weeks back and it was delicious. Too bad I have other plans that night.

I’ve never had a bad meal at Barley John’s. I’ve said it before, but I believe that among the local brewpubs, they have the best food.

  4. Eric says:

Better than the chili fries at Town Hall?!

  5. Ben says:

I’m gonna have to agree that they have the best food of any of the brewpubs. I’d put Fitgers up there at #2 over Town Hall in #3.

  6. ryan says:

Yeah, it’s not so much that anyone’s food isn’t good (or even great) – I’ve just been thoroughly impressed with John’s menu.

  7. Ben says:

Very true. I can find something I like at all of them but finding something I love or something a bit outta the ordinary (like ostrich steak or something a little exotic) I make the journey to Barley John’s.

  8. lee says:

so is the salmon grilled organically or raised in this manner?

  9. ryan says:

The stainless steel in their grill is free-range and contains no hormones.

  10. Ben says:

I would guess that the salmon is organically raised. As our their salads and lots of the other stuff they make.
