Tuesday of this week is Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery’s annual holiday fire and release of Festivus. Once again, it sounds like a tasty beer. Mike promises mulled ale as well. Last year, the crew heated up a batch of their Scotch ale with mulling spices. It was an interesting flavor – not something I cared for with the first sip, but it quickly grew on me. Hot spiced beer… who knew?

Enjoyed the Festivus last night along with the fire. They were serving up heated scotch ale with spices and rum added for free out by the fire. Mango Mama is also on tap (10oz glasses).
Nice. Eric said he enjoyed the Festivus, too. I might just have to make a growler run.
I suppose luck would be against me in getting Mango Mama in a growler… may just have to take that one home in my stomach.
