Seriously. No foolin’. Go check it out for yourself. And for any of you that have just poked your head out from that cave you’ve been living in, the offer must be purchased today and so there’s no whining later on, read all the fine print.
Sold out.
Already bought mine but feel almost bad using it along with my Pint Club discount. I’m gonna use it for nothing but infusions.
If you buy this, be sure to tip on the total before discount. At the end of the day with a Groupon, Town Hall ends up with less than 1/4 of original price. So for the food/drink deal, Town Hall is getting $10 for putting up $40 retail and then typically has to pay the credit card processing for Groupon too. That’s not to say that it doesn’t introduce new people to TH, but it’s something to think about.
Groupons say “Not valid for Happy Hour”
Groupon generally screws the retailer but at least it’s not as bad as OpenTable.
I’m all about supporting Town Hall, and being aware of the use of Groupons… but i’ts not like anyone forced them to participate… they could simply NOT sell a groupon if that 1/4 of the cost of the original price wasn’t still profitable for them, or an acceptable loss leader. It’s their business decision, why should we have to tip toe around it?
TH willingly decided to do the Groupon because they think it makes sense for them…there is no other rational reason for this. So…skip the caveats, fair readers; TH knows what they are doing.
Also, Groupon is not the boogie man…they provide a valuable service for local businesses who OPT IN with both eyes wide open. They do not screw the retailer…the retailer decides to participate…they are not obligated to give a promotion to Groupon.
I did buy two of both offers and will gladly use them.
im so glad groupon sent an email to a zillion mpls residents advertising $6 growlers, only to sell out of a miniscule 501 groupons in no time. hats off!
