LSB’s [Lake Superior Brewing Co.] Mesabi Red, in its fully cask conditioned state, will be served via an English Beer Engine tonight (Jan. 5, 2007) at Sir Benedict’s. If you’ve been to past Firkin Fridays, you know how special cask conditioned beer is, and how it can differ so much from the standard version of the beer. Cheers!

I don’t like many “red” beers, but I like Mesabi Red and bet it would taste quite nice as a cask-conditioned beer. Charlie Parr fans take note, he’s playing at Sir Benedict’s tonight as well.
