Pour Decisions Brewing Co. is releasing a barrel-aged version of their Belgin Tripel, St Whatshername. THis version has been holy fermented with three strains of Brettanomyces and aged in white wine barrels. It’ll be available at the brewery Thursday (today) through Saturday in limited quantities – only about 20 cases of 750ml bottles will be available.
Description from the brewery: St. Whatshername was made traditionally and fermented funkily. Pear drops, hay, clementine orange, pineapple, pepper and spice. 3 types of brettanomyces lend a rounded funky, bright fruity kick to the long, very dry and crisp finish. Strong willed, thoroughly dirty and utterly dangerous…the beginning, or end, to a magnificent story.
