Inaugural Muddy Pig Belgian Beer Festival, “Slegg Verken” [Editor’s note: May I add that this looks like a very good time? The first annual Muddy Pig Belgian Beer Festival will be held September 12 – 14, 2008. Over 40 draught lines will be devoted to Belgian beer/Belgian style beer as we cycle through 80 or more different beers throughout the weekend.

Educational seminars will be held each day of the festival looking at the history of brewing in Belgium, the different styles of beer produced and the sometimes unique processes used to produce these outstanding ales. Attendees will be able to sample a variety of beers at each seminar as part of their learning experience.

Hours: Friday 11:30a.m. to 2:00a.m.
Saturday 11:30a.m. to 2:00a.m.
Sunday 11:30a.m. to 1:00a.m.

Seminars: One seminar each day beginning at 12:00 noon. Seating limited to 40 people per session.
