Tonight: Movember at the Summit Tap Room

Starting at 3pm in the Summit Tap Room, $1 of every pint or flight sold will go towards Movember, a campaign to raise awareness for men’s health issues.  Stop by anytime between 3-8pm.  They’ll tap a cask of Abbey Ale, have a silent auction & DJ and the Messy Giuseppe food truck will be on site! The Growler/Beer Dabbler folks are a part of thos Movember madness as well. Enjoy!

Movember FUNdraiser at Fulton

Its that time of year again. During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on more than a million men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital awareness and funds for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.

Party-goers will also be able to bid on cool and exciting silent auction items like Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival Tickets, a Growler subscription, a Natedogs Hoody, and many more great prizes.

Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival Tickets Now Available

Hey beer nerds, now is the time to snap up your tickets for the Fourth Annual Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival. This year’s event promises twice the breweries, stages and space than previous years, promising to be bigger and better than ever before. 100 breweries. 300+ beers. Good times for all!

Cool stuff includes:

  • Mayor Chris Coleman tapping the inaugural Oak Barrel Brew – this year’s beer is to be a special release from Stone Brewing Company
  • New releases from various breweries
  • Live music on two stages from local bands including Koo Koo Kanga Roo, Bloodnstuff, The Chalice, and Heiruspecs
  • AHA/BJCP Certified Homebrew Contest presented by Northern Brewer
  • Lord Dabbler’s Cup awarded to the best brewery as voted on by festival-goers
  • Hot food served by local gourmet food trucks including Gastrotruck, Natedogs, Potter’s Pasties, and others
  • Lots of other cool shit.

Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival

There’s a bit of a chill in the air today, so what better time than the present to start thinking about this Winter’s only outdoor beer festival, Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival in Lowertown St. Paul, at the Farmer’s Market Lot on January 26, 2013 from 3:30pm – 7:30pm (doors open at 3:00pm).

Over 100 breweries will be present, sampling 300+ beers along with live music, home brew contest, silent disco, and best dressed of the fest contest! Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door. In its fourth year, this event has sold out in advance the past two years.

Tickets go on sale November 6th!
