Minneapolis/St. Paul Featured in Imbibe Magazine
I haven’t seen it yet, but Minneapolis/St. Paul was featured in an article in Imbibe Magazine about five up-and-coming beer scenes. Minneapolis/St. Paul is joined by Portland, Maine, Reno Nevada, Atlanta, Georgia and Austin, Texas. I’m looking forward to checking it out when I get a chance.
Beer & Babies
Thanks to all of the well-wishers. Dawn and I extremely excited that baby MNBeer (..er Laura) is finally here. We came home on Wednesday afternoon and I finally had a chance to kick back with a beer and it was good.
A little business – if you have any events and news that you’d normally send me, please send it to one of the other contributers this week. If I get it, I’ll forward it when I have a chance, but I won’t be nearly as close to my email this week… My Powerbook is nice, but I’d much rather have Laura in my lap right now! Cheers!
Beer, Bets and bas…er Football
The Star Tribune reports that Jim Doyle and Tim Pawlenty have a friendly wager over tonight’s little football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. Not surprisingly, the wager involves beer. The Strib doesn’t report what beers the losing governor might share, but we know that Minnesota did its homework! I got a call last week from someone in a state office wondering if the list of Minnesota breweries on this site was accurate and up-to-date. The call certainly caught me by surprise, but I was happy to report that the list is accurate! Somehow, I suspect either governor will be happy should he win!
Beer and Emmys…
