River Lakes Beer and Wine Expo

Craft beer and fine wine pair up for a second straight year to benefit the local youth hockey program at the 2013 River Lakes Craft Beer and Wine Expo on April 13, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the River Lakes Civic Arena, located at 319 Central Avenue South in Richmond.

The Expo will feature over 35 Brewers and Vintners offering over 100 varieties of craft beer and 40 varieties of wine.

Early Bird tickets are only $25 and are available for purchase online at www.RiverLakesExpo.com, or at Brinky’s Liquor in Richmond, Cashwise Liquor in Waite Park, West Side Liquor in Waite Park, St. Cloud and Sartell or by e-mailing Riverlakesexpo@gmail.com Get your tickets early, only 1,500 sold! Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $35.

Once in the door, participants will receive their very own commemorative glass to utilize as they indulge their palate with as many craft beers and fine wines as they so choose.

Participants will move about with ease for four full hours of unlimited sampling. Expo organizers take pride in offering sampling in a relaxed fun-filled atmosphere where you do not need to stand in long lines to enjoy the craft beer or wine of your choice. Brewery and Distributor representatives will be on hand to answer questions, about their beer and wine, its components, and flavor. It truly will be an enjoyable learning experience for all.

All proceeds benefit the River Lakes Stars Youth Hockey Association, which provides over 250 kids from seven central Minnesota school districts the opportunity to play organized hockey each year.  River Lakes is a 501,c,3 nonprofit organization that provides a rewarding hockey experience , focuses on the development of players, while promoting a fun, fair, and save environment dedicated to the respect, sportsmanship, and excellence of all participants.
