A New Brewery at the State Fair

Next week a new brewery pushed Indeed out of the “newest brewery in the Twin Cities slot. Pour Decisions Brewing Company will debut at the Minnesota State Fair, making them the very first Minnesota brewery to launch at the State Fair. Pretty cool. You’ll be able to check out Pubstitute, a dark Scottish session ale at the Ballpark Cafe starting on August 23rd. It comes as no surprise, but this beer was a previous blue-ribbon winner at the state fair homebrew competition. Read on for details.

Congrats to Pour Decisions!

Newest Minnesotan Brewery to Release at the Minnesota State Fair

University of Minnesota Alums Turn Award Winning Beer into Pour Decisions

(Roseville, MN) – Pour Decisions Brewing Company is excited to announce the official
release of their award winning beer on August 23rd at the Minnesota State Fair. Pour
Decisions Brewing Company is the newest brewery in Minnesota to make a splash in the
craft beer scene located in Roseville, MN. Their first release, a dark Scottish session ale
called The Pubstitute, was a previous Blue ribbon Best of Show winner at the fair and
will be exclusively showcased at the Ball Park Cafe on the Minnesota State Fair grounds.
Pour Decisions Brewing Company will be the first Minnesota brewery ever launched at
the “Great Minnesota Get-Together” taking place August 23rd through Labor Day.

Pour Decisions Brewing Company was founded in 2011 by a pair of University of
Minnesota alums, BJ Haun and Kristen England. PDBC will be producing world class
beers using traditional processes, ingredients and techniques. Drawing on inspiration
from classic brewing centers around the world, the brewers at PDBC seek to introduce
under-represented beer styles to the people of Minnesota. What PDBC’s beer styles lack
in common notoriety they make up for in flavor and complexity. PDBC strives to bring
local beer fans some of the world’s best-kept beer secrets.

Pour Decisions Brewing Company will showcase their hand-crafted ales to the public in a
new tap room which is planned to be open to visitors in the fall of 2012 in their Roseville
brewery. Consumers will also be able to find PDBC’s flagship beers, the Patersbier
and the Pubstitute, through J.J. Taylor Distributing Company of Minnesota, Inc. in
September of 2012. For more info regarding Pour Decisions Brewing Company visit
