Granite City rolls out its “Pride”, one of their first creations. Pride of Pilsner is gold in color and has a classic European malt character. Stop in to check it out and for Mug Club members, enjoy a complimentary buffet with three varieties of flatbread pizza and Caesar salad.

June 11…that was this past Friday. Did this already happen, or is the wrong date listed above.

Wrong date. I was there over the weekend twice and the wheat is gone at most locations and they have a sickeningly sweet blueberry wheat that tastes more like a malternative beverage along with a Belgian golden ale.

More of that awesome IPA please! What was it called, batch # something or other?

Batch 1000. Think that was a one time thing for their 1000th batch. It was kinda between an IPA and a DIPA.

IIRC, Bob MacKenzie asked that you let GC staff/management know if you liked Batch 1000. I’d love to see that on as a full-time or seasonal beer at GC.

I recall him saying that. I’d love to see it as a full-time beer. Their current year-round brews don’t do much for me although we go there fairly often since it’s close. Even as a seasonal would be nice.
