Brewing History of South Central Minnesota
Once again Schell’s brewer and renaissance man, Dave Berg, comes slamming home with the goods for us. It’s a good piece, and most of it is correct…the one glaring error relates to our contract brewing. Some of these reporters are using info from the mid-80s still! If we’re making 40 different brands, there still must be another part of the brewery I haven’t discovered yet! (and the gnomes must be doing some brewing during off hours…)
Perhaps that specialty/niche “Gnome Market” is bigger than you thought, eh Dave?

So the Gnomes are diversifying and moving beyond underpants into beer? Seems like a smart move given the econimic climate these days. Risky, but smart.
I’ve never seen those gnomes do anything but drink beer and play cards. Come to think of it, it’s not unlike Mag-except the card playing bit…

Ha! I wasn’t actually calling you a gnome, by the way. But I guess if the pointy hat fits…
Step 1, steal underpants. Step 2, silent pause. Step 3, take over the world. My guess is that the beer drinking occurs during that pause between steps 1 and 2.
