Generally, I'm not a big IPA fan. It is usually too hoppy and bitter for my taste; however, Fulton IPA is very drinkable. Some of the establishments serving craft beers have their refrigeration set too low. This can really effect the taste of an IPA in a bad way. I've found that letting the beer sit long enough to warm up a little really helps the flavor. The challenge is letting a good beer sit.

It's great to read the interview and get a feel for who is behind the good beer. I agree with eddieheartsbeer - I hope these guys do well so they can get more styles out and bottled. I'd be happy to see Minneapolis welcome the Fulton Brewery someday.

I am with you Scott, I am really looking forward to their blonde. I think I heard this summer it will be coming. Hoping they start making some money so I can enjoy the beer in bottles. Sounds like they are on the right track.

Interesting article. I'm very pleased with their Sweet Child of Vine and I'm looking forward to the blonde ale.

"we don’t have nearly as many local companies producing good beer. So I think there’s room for more great beer in the Twin Cities,"

I agree. I'm amazed at cities like Boulder, CO and Portland, OR and central Michigan. They have so many breweries compared to us. It suggests to me we have room for a lot more breweries.
