Welcome in the weekend with a sipper of an Imperial Stout. Pat at Grumpy’s NE is going to tap a keg of Founders Imperial Stout–10.5% abv and 90 IBUs–tonight at 5pm. Corey at Hohensteins is also reporting that cases of this dark goodness will hit the streets next week.

As an added bonus, a cask of Rush River Winter Warmer will be flowing!

    I hate the phrase “Impy.” Using a cutsie-pie diminutive for an Imperial Stout makes no sense.

    The cask that Rush River brought was pretty cool, dry hopped with Cascade. The Founders RIS was badass, as was the cheese and pate that Pat served to complement the beer.
