St. Paul Summer Beer Festival | MNBeer – Beer from the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Minneapolis, St. Paul and beyond

St. Paul Summer Beer Festival

June 20, 2010
12:00 pmto5:00 pm

Juno sent this a couple of days ago… on the verge of Minnesota’s abrupt transition from early fall to winter. He’s either cruel or really funny. In any case…

Save the Date! The 2010 St Paul Summer Beer Fest will occur on June 20th, 2010 from 12pm-5pm. Tickets will go on sale March 21st, 2010 at noon. Last year sold out with over 2000+ attendees. There were over 50 craft breweries from MN and beyond, live music, food, and the fun atmosphere of Midway Stadium of the St. Paul Saints. The 2010 St Paul Summer Beer Fest will be bigger and better (more breweries)!

I had a great time with friends last year at their inaugural event. Word of warning. Bring sunscreen!

Ditto on the sunscreen! I got the worst, back on the knees burn there last year, but the great brewers and their beer were well worth it. Can’t wait!

I remember it being a beautiful day, and I third the sunscreen. I got the worst burn of the summer there.

I brought sunscreen. Nice event. Sunday fests are always hard though.

I think we should lobby for this event to be held in Como Park, sort of like the Great Taste of the Midwest does in Madison. The parking lot / concrete didn’t seem ideal to me. JMHO

I like the Como idea, but Midway is probably easier and more affordable since the saints already have a liquor license…

Actually you can get a temporary permit to host the event through the City.

@Kelly-You can only get a temporary permit if you are non-profit that has been in business for 3 years. Also, dealing with park boards, as we found out with the ABR, can be a bit of a nightmare.

There should be plenty of beer geeks in town for this, the NHC is June 17-19
