Goose Island Bourbon County Stout Kick Off

For the first time Broubon County Stout will be available in 650mL bottles.  They will hit store shelves this week. Goose Island will also be hosting a kick off party for Bourbon County Stout at Buster’s on 28th on Thursday, November 5th at 7pm.  Come on out for our first sampling of the 09!

    The first sampling was at the Zipp’s beer tasting last night. Good stuff this year. Really interested in the new versions to come.

    New versions of Bourbon County Stout? Are you talking about Nightstalker or what?

    Nope. They are looking at a Bourbon Coffee Stout and a Blueberry Bourbon Stout in the 22oz bottles next year.

    They also have another one that has been aging for 2 years they are going to release.

    Paul – I had heard that too although there was no mention of it when we contacted someone at GI. We shall see. I have plenty that I’ve aged for 2+ years.
