Beer, Bets and bas…er Football

The Star Tribune reports that Jim Doyle and Tim Pawlenty have a friendly wager over tonight’s little football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. Not surprisingly, the wager involves beer. The Strib doesn’t report what beers the losing governor might share, but we know that Minnesota did its homework! I got a call last week from someone in a state office wondering if the list of Minnesota breweries on this site was accurate and up-to-date. The call certainly caught me by surprise, but I was happy to report that the list is accurate! Somehow, I suspect either governor will be happy should he win!

Anyone else find it amusing that someone from the state, which licenses breweries, has to call Ryan to find out if *his* list is accurate? Your tax dollars at work…

Favre and the Vikes deserve to win this game after that abandonment from the Packers 2 years ago. Look for favre to have a big game to get his revenge.
