I've got an Ebay account all set up to sell Surly jugs, bring them on in so I can retire soon. Actually, we thought we'd store them in my garage and if Omar can get some legislator to change the law on growlers, sell them back to him to resell back to you. Oh wait, they "know nothing" about any legislator & changes to the growler law. Actually, Ryan's story is more boring but also more accurate. They're looking to get people to try their beer by trading one of their growlers for a growler that you can't otherwise have refilled in Minnesota. I'm sure some people see the value of a Surly growler as a potential collector's item and other probably see it as an empty growler that can't be refilled.
