The newscasters commet about homebrewing being expensive and difficult was way off base. Homebrewing is neither difficult nor particularly expensive. For about $150.00 you can have everything you need to brew world class beer. Like it says in one of the local brewshops catalog…if you can make a box of mac and cheese you can make beer.

Having just started home brewing a month or so ago, I will say its not as easy as making mac and cheese, but it really isnt that hard.

If it takes the average person two hours to clean up after making mac and cheese, then yes homebrewing is that easy.
Not to discourage anyone from trying but you can make it as difficult as you want.
