MNBeer sold out…
…all of our ad space, anyway. We have eight Minnesota advertisers booked through January for the top banner placement on the site. Of course I know there’s still some interest out there, so I’m now looking at getting rid of the Google ad and making the space available to advertisers. The ad’s smaller, so it’ll be cheaper. that’s awesome. you should have charged more. i really wouldn’t mind if you increased the number of ads either. with such a well defined group of visitors to the site, those interested in minnesota beer, the ads are likely to be relevant to me. i might even click a few!
The ad prices were fair - not cheap, but not too high either. I have a feeling that the clickthroughs may be a bit higher than usual since we’re so targeted, but it’s all good. I promised current advertisers that I’d limit the top banners to 8 slots, so I won’t change that right now. The secondary slot may fill the need for straggler, though.
Hrrm. I might change things up in another six months…
