Ooh! Another 150th Anniversary Draft Series release from Schell’s this weekend. It is a Munich Dunkel based on a recipe from 1867. The beer is a deep copper color with a reddish tint. Medium bodied, rich and malty, with hints of vanilla and chocolate. The beer is in honor of George Marti, who was the 3rd president of Schell’s (1911-1934), and was born on May 4th, 1856. They will be kicking off the celebrations by hosting a release party at the Side Street Pub in Fargo, Friday, May 2nd. They’ll be hosting many more events - visit their website for more information.

Thanks Jace!

Looks to be another tasty beer. I hope some of these get enough positive feedback to make Schells consider bottling them seasonally. :-)
