Minnesota beer in the BJCP guidelines

Speaking of BJCP… this is cool… in the most recent edition of the BJCP guidelines, a couple of Minnesota beers were added as good  commercial examples – 14A. English IPA – Summit IPA, and 14C. Imperial IPA – Surly Furious. Thanks to Kris England, BJCP Continuing Education Director, for the info.

    Shouldn’t IIPAs be stronger than 6%?

    According to the style guidelines an IIPA should be 7.5-10%.
