ryan > I can’t remember where the next GC was supposed to land, either…

I'd heard one was originally planned for the Woodbury Lakes complex, but that seems not to have panned out. Either way, the Eastern and Northeastern suburbs could sure use the variety!

I've been to a tasting party for DUO, and I was very impressed. I love their philosophy about beer and its clearly portrayed while tasting them.

IIRC, the DUO fellas are going for a brewery, not a brewpub, but yes, you're probably right Chaz. I can't remember where the next GC was supposed to land, either...

Hey now, Scott... the last 2 or 3 GC seasonals have been really damn good. I was duly impressed by the wit and the Oktoberfest.

Maplewood Mall could always use a brewpub, something to offset (or compliment?) the DIVE Bar and The Rock (just throwing the idea out there.) I'm also surprised that nobody has moved into the White Bear Lake area: Washington Square is a great beer bar, but a proper brewpub would be even better!

"As we move forward into the coming year we are working hard to assemble the start-up capital required to finally transform DUO Brewing from an idea on paper, into a microbrewery Minnesota can be proud of."

I'd say they're located "in the future" at the moment. hopefully the near future...

"That palate for a fuller flavor, full body, and bold representation of beer styles is what DUO Brewing will help satisfy in Minnesota."

Bold representation of beer styles.... I like that!
