Free copies of BeerAdvocate magazine?

Don wants to know where he might find free copies of BeerAdvocate magazine in the Twin Cities. Help a brother out. Where would he find copies of said magazine?

Every self-respecting beer bar and liquor store should have copies of BeerAdvocate and The Imbiber on hand at all times. Period. I don’t know about them giving up the material for you to walk out the door with, but I’m sure they would let you read them while shopping and/or enjoying the comforts of their fine establishment. If after asking if they have copies of said magazines for you to read, and they have no idea what you are talking about, then you need to find a new place to hang out and/or buy beer.

I just got my 20 copies of September yesterday, and still have a few left of August…at the Blue Nile.

Thanks for the replies. I was just askin’ because a friend of mine picks them up (for free) at Fitgers Brewhouse in Duluth. I figured they should be around a metro area like ours if they are in Duluth. So, Herkimer has them. Blue Nile has them regularly? How about any downtown Mpls spots? (I work there and it would be most convenient).

    thanks guys.

Not sure about anywhere in downtown Mpls…I don’t really go to any bars there.

Hey Don (a bit OT here) nice work on the recipe in BYO. Looks tasty :)

I’ve seen BA mag specifically at The Muddy Pig and The Happy Gnome before.

Twin Cities Imbiber Issue #2 (grammatical errors and all) will be on the street next week and will be available to pick up at the ABR as well.

We get a large sized stack in at Barley Johns and we put them out on the bar. They are usually gone within a week. Cheers!
